Summer Courses

SUMMER PROGRAMS

Summer is a great opportunity to improve writing skills and learn valuable study techniques. Both homeschooled and traditional students can benefit from summer enrichment classes.  These are not full credit, semester-long courses, so you won't be overwhelmed with work.  Aditionally, academic summer courses look great on a college application!

We have designed our online summer classes with three things in mind:

Joy
Learning should be fun, especially in the summer!

Inspiration
Let’s keep our creative juices flowing throughout the long, hot months.

Flexibility
Students work fully online, there is no rigid schedule.

Summer students will work in a fully online environment. They will have access to online lessons, discussions, and enrichment activities on our class website. Each week, students will post an assignment that the teacher will review (via email). Depending on their personal goals, students will spend anywhere from 1-4 hours per week on coursework.

Because this class runs “asynchronously” (participants do not need to be online at the same time), students have the ability to work when their schedules allow. Are you a high school student who works during the day? Then do your lessons over the weekend. Are you going to the beach for the week? No problem. Just take your computer with you and spend a few hours at Starbucks.
