  • Online and Face-to-Face Classes for
    Homeschooled and Traditional Students

    Grades 1-12

Every student approaches education with different strengths and experiences. As a result, learning is an individual challenge for each of us. Our goal is to help students harness their strengths, push beyond their weaknesses, and learn that challenge is not a bad thing. Most of all, we want them to remember that learning can be fun!

    • We provide both supplemental classes and full-credit academic courses
Full credit courses are more time intensive than supplemental classes

    • Our courses are available to students worldwide
Most students live near Charlotte, North Carolina

    • Students have the option of enrolling fully online or adding a face-to-face component
      Some classes are completely face-to-face

    • All classes provide ample student-student and student-teacher interaction
Class discussions are a key ingredient

ONLINE COURSES: Students enrolled as fully online learners will participate in weekly lessons via the internet. In addition to weekly lessons and readings, students will interact with other students and the teacher via weekly discussion forums and activities. Although students work asynchronously*, this is a not a self-paced course. Student interaction is an important part of the learning process; therefore, all enrolled students will work on the same activity each week. Students do not need to live in the Charlotte area to enroll in our online classes.
*Students can log on to the course at any time during the week to complete their lessons. There is no set class meeting time.

FACE-TO-FACE OPTION: Local* students have the option of combining their online class with a face-to-face component. The frequency of meetings varies by course. Some classes meet on a monthly basis. Others meet weekly. There are even a few classes for younger students with no online component. Currently, our classes meet in a private home in Weddington, NC.
    * South Charlotte, Waxhaw, Weddington, Ballantyne, Mecklenburg County, Union County, or anyone willing to travel to Weddington, NC
